Optimized & Industry-ready Solutions
For All Your Complicated Needs
A level gauge is an instrument for measuring liquid or solid material height. The magnetic float type provides direct visual indication via a magnet-coupled float and flags. Other major types include: Float & Displacement gauges, relying on buoyancy; Pressure gauges, measuring hydrostatic head; Capacitance/RF Admittance gauges, detecting changes in dielectric constant; Ultrasonic/Radar gauges, using wave reflection for non-contact measurement; and Magnetostrictive gauges, offering high accuracy with a magnetic float and waveguide. Selection depends on media properties, process conditions, and accuracy requirements.

FTSG Reflex liquid level gauge employs a prismatic glass with vertical grooves. Light entering the gauge is reflected by the grooves when vapor-filled, appearing silvery; conversely, liquid contact alters the refractive index, absorbing light and appearing black. This provides a stark, high-contrast interface for unambiguous level reading. Constructed with tempered borosilicate glass and stainless steel chambers, it suits high-pressure, high-temperature steam and liquid applications.
Essential accessories enhance functionality and safety. Isolation valves (ball or globe) enable on-line removal. Drain/vent valves facilitate purging. Magnetic switches provide high/low alarm actuation. Transmitters (e.g., reed chain, 4-20 mA) enable remote monitoring. Chambers, floats, and gaskets are available in diverse materials (316L, Hastelloy) for compatibility with aggressive media and high-pressure applications.
